Mexican Silver Libertad 2017. Silver Libertad’s made their debut in 1981 and their popularity has increased steadily over the past decades. The design was inspired by the Gold Centenario coin and the reverse of the 2017 1 oz Libertad silver coin depicts Victoria, the Mexican Angel of Independence. Victoria is shown as a statue on a pedestal, referencing the Column of Independence in Mexico City.
