Finland – 2 Euro, Diplomacy and foreign policy, 2025 (EN)

In 2025, the Helsinki Mint will release a 2 euro commemorative coin for Finland’s state visits: “State Visits of Finland – Diplomacy and Foreign Policy” – BU quality in a coincard with the obverse in English and the reverse in Finnish/Swedish. The 2 euro “State Visits of Finland – Diplomacy and Foreign Policy” coin is presented in a blue coincard designed by the Helsinki Mint. The card’s design represents the connection between Finland and the rest of the world. The text on the front is in English, while the text on the back is in Finnish and Swedish. The 2 euro coin was designed by Sinikka Inkeroinen-Huhta and Ilkka Huhta. They used the image of a door to symbolize state visits. Behind the door, negotiations take place, relationships are formed, and the future is built. The obverse shows a smooth door, while the rest of the design is a bit rougher. On the reverse, it is the opposite.
