Belgica - 2 Euro, National Railway, 2026 (FR)

This year marks the 100th anniversary of SNCB-NMBS… 100 years as a central link in Belgium’s transport network. Since 1926, the National Railway Company of Belgium (SNCB-NMBS) has played an essential role in Belgium’s economic and social landscape, with a clear ambition: sustainable and accessible transport for everyone. SNCB-NMBS will be celebrating its anniversary throughout 2026 with a host of activities. The coming months will be dedicated to music and culture, and two of the workshops will be opening their doors to the general public on an exceptional basis. There will be plenty of opportunities to get to know the railways and SNCB-NMBS in a different way, to share stories and to celebrate together what connects us today and tomorrow.
