Completed in 1966 and originally named Salazar Bridge this suspended bridge across the Tagus River changed his name to 25th April after the so called revolution in 1974 that occurred that day. With an overall length of 2.278 m and the longest span in Europe with 1.013 meters, the bridge is longer than the S. Francisco Golden gate which it resembles.
