Portugal – 2 Euro, World Youth Day, 2023 (bag of 10)

In 2023 the World Youth Day (WYD) will take place in Lisbon, is a meeting of young people from all over the world with the Pope. It is both a pilgrimage and a celebration of youth, aimed at promoting the universal principles of peace, unity and brotherhood among peoples and nations. To mark this historic moment, the Portuguese Republic is issuing a commemorative 2 euro coin. The artist invited to design it was sculptor Joao Duarte.
